Jason Knauer and I covered Heather and Doug's wedding in Baltimore a couple weekends ago and we had a great time! Heather and Doug, together and separately are wonderful people and they fit so well together. It was just a few days after the new year, we had mild weather for January and location after location in and around Baltimore was gorgeous. I'm so glad I was able to be a part of your day!

Congratulations you guys!!

The last image is my absolute favorite from both days. I can't wait to have it enlarged, box mounted and hanging in the studio!
Mintu and Megha: Thank you for having me be a part of your celebration! I had a wonderful time and I wish you guys the very best! You guys were SO calm and chill through TONS of family formals, unexpected turns and everything else that goes with a large wedding! Thank you!
London Sandy: You're famous!

After leaving the Gurdwara we went back to Meg's Parent's house where we did some portraits, drank Indian tea and Megha left her parent's house with her belongings. Traditionally this would be where the Bride leaves her family to live with her husband, sometimes moving far away. I don't hear this often called the "Crying Ceremony" anymore but that's essentially what it is... and a few tears were shed. Meg? She just smiled :o)

I've shot my share of Indian weddings. Meg and Mintu was to be my first Sikh wedding. The Gurdwara (Sikh Temple) was beautiful inside as was the ceremony and experience. There was much more singing than the Hindu ceremonies I have become accustomed to. One side of the temple was women, the other men with the Guru, Mintu and Meg in the middle. After the ceremony we all went downstairs to eat lunch.
Harry and Rachel's wedding was last Saturday and I had a great time! They were wonderful people, honestly in love and everything of their day reflected it. This wedding combined so many of my favorite types of weddings! Christian ceremony, on base which always means beautiful chapel, traditional Chinese elements and Indian elements. Not only were they great people and a beautiful wedding I got to work with one of my favorite videographers, Neil "Bollywood" Benjers. I picked way too many images for this post but these images barely scratch the surface on my favorites from their day.

The last image was of a video message that Harry surprised Rachel with from her home church back in Singapore.

You guys were calm and a lot of fun to work with, even taking me down a street that was new to me in Annapolis that I am looking forward to using again! Congratulations you guys!
