The reception for Mintu and Meg was at Fox Chase in Manassas, VA. It was a beautiful reception, wonderful food, awesome lighting, great music and TONS of dancing and entertainment. 400 guests comfortably fit in the grand ballroom and even though maybe 100 people were off in corners talking that still left ~300 on the HUGE dance floor. It was a highly energized evening to celebrate the newly wed couple.
The last image is my absolute favorite from both days. I can't wait to have it enlarged, box mounted and hanging in the studio!
Mintu and Megha: Thank you for having me be a part of your celebration! I had a wonderful time and I wish you guys the very best! You guys were SO calm and chill through TONS of family formals, unexpected turns and everything else that goes with a large wedding! Thank you!

I'm getting ready to post three separate posts from Megha and Mintu's wonderful wedding. This, oddly, is one of my favorite scene setting images from this whole wedding season. The reception venue, Fox Chase in Manassas, VA, was gorgeous inside with beautiful chandeliers, elegant rooms with TALL ceilings and a great dance floor.
I have a D200, 10mm, 2.8f @ 1/60sec (640ASA?) up on a fully extended monopod, probably 12 feet in the air. For whatever reason the remote shutter didn't focus properly but happy accidents are always welcome! I would love to have this hanging in the studio.
